Here it's February of 2009 and I still can't believe we haven't had the snow they've been "warning" us about. It's been three weeks and here in the downtown area, it hasn't snowed. Why have the cold weather if it isn't going to snow? This weekend there are a couple of activities going on in the City. The American Heart Association is having their "Heart Ball "with a "Wizard of Oz" theme, Feb. 7 at the Chattanooga Convention Center. GPS , Girls Preparatory School, is having their anual fundraiser ,Visions, themed "The Greatest Auction on Earth". The dinner,silent auction and live auction is being held at The Chattanoogan. Hope everyone is able to raise the money they need. As for me, GPS has won out for my ticket money. Meanwhile, I'll just sit and watch for the "snow".
